Pronunciation Guide | This pronunciation guide is the idea of Susie, Jay and Deborah's little goddaughter. Susie Pooh is just learning to read, and tries to read everything in sight . She is also a tough cookie, and she let us have it because many of our names are hard (for her) to read. So to get her off our backs, here goes, in alphabetical order:
Hegdé, Jay's last name, is pronounced something like 'hegDAY'. He doesn't mind people pronouncing it as 'Hedge', although he has a slight preferences for being addressed as 'Your Majesty'.
Karin is pronounced 'kaDEEn'. (Also, Karin is a guy, not a gal.)
Nicole is actually pronounced 'nicoLAY', although she's fine with people pronouncing it as Nicole.
Maestri, Matthew's last name, is pronounced 'MAYstree' (rhymes with pastry).
Xin is pronounced something like 'SHin'.
Finally,
Susie wants everyone to know that her name is pronounced 'Susie', as in 'Susie'.
